The Jones - Stinky Street

It's a rainy day but I must find the answer.
I will find it in that street I never went down before.
Beyond my disgust there's a force pushing me
Deeper into that hole.
Are you here my brother?
Do you smell the evil scent as I do?

It goes through my lungs,
It goes through my head.
It burns my brain like a candle
It's sickening.
That stinky street
Seems to keep all its worst
From all the world.
I'm a piece of this.

If the answer was in that shit.
It's so strange, some of those smells
Recall to me scents from my youth.
But they're rotten and burnt
Like old forgotten rubbish,
Like my worst forgotten nightmares.

It goes through my lungs,
It goes through my head.
It burns my brain like a candle
It's sickening.
That stinky street
Seems to keep all its worst
From all the world.
I'm a piece of this.

I vomit on myself, I can't endure anymore.
It's like a torture; it's hard and so good.
My own smell make me sick, I give up.
I surrender even the answer is near, I know.

It goes through my lungs,
It goes through my head.
It burns my brain like a candle
It's sickening.
That stinky street
Seems to keep all its worst
From all the world.
I'm a piece of this.

Later in the morning I wake up,
What's that sound it's doing my head in.
Oho! My head! I don't know where I am.
